Planit Consulting, along with a wider team of specialists, is working with the landowner of 103 Paterson Street, Byron Bay to pursue redevelopment opportunities. A community consultation process has been established to receive feedback on this project.
Taking into consideration Byron Bay’s town planning provisions, the attributes of the site and the landowner’s market analysis, a concept has been progressed which includes:
- demolition of existing dwelling
- construction of 14 townhouses
- construction of 8 swimming pools and landscaping
- associated earthworks
- removal of 24 trees
- upgrade to local drainage channel
- compensatory plantings in Shelly Drive Reserve.
From 14 August to 1 September 2020, Planit Consulting invites you to:
- view key project information
- review project material prepared to date
- discuss queries with professional staff, and
- submit your feedback.
The outcomes of this consultation process will inform the project. The application will then be submitted to Council for formal assessment. A report detailing the feedback received will be included within the material submitted to Council. Additional community consultation will also be undertaken by Council during the assessment process.
We acknowledge that it is often easier to have a discussion with a professional, than wade through lengthy and technical reports.
