The Valley Estate

The Valley Estate is the complete wedding venue offering prospective couples the unique opportunity to host their ceremony, photoshoot, and reception – all within one, exclusive property nestled in Currumbin Waters.

Planit was commissioned to deliver council approval for a function facility and caretaker’s accommodation.

As part of this work, Planit prepared and managed the entire town planning process. Planit also project managed a multi-disciplinary team of consultants which were required to address the significant constraints of the site.

Planit conducted ecological assessments and identified the key environmental values – reviewing the significance of the areas within the property. Planit investigated mitigation strategies to reduce potential impacts and provided rehabilitation strategies to ensure the longevity of the surrounding ecosystem.

In addition, Planit assisted with addressing the stormwater constraints of the subject site which was prone to flooding from the nearby Currumbin Creek as well as preparing landscape concept plans which complemented and enhanced the rural nature of the surrounding area.
