Customers of popular local eatery, Cubby Bakehouse are now served in the comfort of their car thanks to help from Planit Consulting.
Cubby bakehouse, serving thousands of local customers annually, approached Planit with the concept of a drive-thru service which has now been approved.
Planit worked alongside the Cubby team and Tweed Shire Council to get the drive-thru concept approved, within a week of operations commencing.
Using Planit’s trademark management strategies, the Cubby team will now safely operate a service that has minimum impact on the local road network and surrounding area.
This has been a critical decision by Cubby to ensure the business can continue to operate during COVID-19 restrictions.
“The approval means employees can keep jobs and customers can continue to purchase their favourite treats during a challenging time,” said Luke Blandford, NSW Planning Manager, Planit Consulting.
This new service has been hugely popular, keeping as many people employed as possible.
Cubby drive-thru is supplying take home meals and fruit boxes as well as most of their usual items from their menu.
