The Bower Estate

Planit was commissioned to deliver council approval for a function facility – The Bower Estate.

The Bower Estate is renowned for breathtaking weddings and events conducted on 120 acres of unparalleled beauty and environmental heritage. Nestled in the Gold Coast Hinterland on the border between Queensland and New South Wales in Natural Bridge.

As part of this work, Planit prepared and managed the entire town planning process and project managed a team of consultants which were required to address the significant constraints of the site.

Planit conducted detailed ecological assessments and identified the key local and state environmental values – reviewing the environmental significance of the property.

Planit investigated mitigation strategies to reduce potential impacts to ensure the longevity of the surrounding ecosystem.

In addition, Planit assisted with ensuring guest safety providing a bushfire management plan without resulting in the clearing of significant vegetation as well as engineering services of traffic management planning due to the site being on a state-controlled road.

Concept plans were prepared and provided to ensure the proposal maintained the rural amenity of the local area.
