Planit Consulting was engaged to provide town planning services for the latest expansion of the iconic Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club in Broadbeach – amending the existing Material Change of Use (MCU) approval via the Planning and Environment Court.
Working closely with the Club, our team prepared pre-request responses and facilitated a minor change application under section 78 of the Planning Act 2016, coordinating with both Council and the State Assessment and Referral Agency (SARA).
Delivered in time for the 2024 International Lifesaving World Championships, the project includes a new outdoor dining terrace with stunning ocean views, further enhancing one of Queensland’s most popular beachside cafes.
