Planit was commissioned by Holmfields Developments to prepare a development application for a 26-lot residential subdivision in Armidale located in the New England region of NSW, gaining approval from Armidale Regional Council.
Planit leveraged all its departments; town planning, engineering, environmental and landscape architecture to obtain the approval which will see 1-lot subdivided into 26 to develop new housing on the land.
Armidale Regional Council issued approval meaning the project can move onto the next phases. According to an article in the Armidale Express, Australian Bureau of Statistics data shows Armidale has one of the fastest population growth rates in Country NSW.
The approval of the subdivision meets the market need of the growing population in the Regional City, providing more housing and supporting economic growth while also creating job opportunities to locals.
Planit has now been engaged for the next phase of the project to implement detailed design documentation and construction.
