On behalf of QM Properties, Planit has completed the design and project management duties for Pacific Cove Park.
The recreation park sits in Pacific Cove’s master planned community located in the Northern Gold Coast growth corridor.
Just twenty minutes from the heart of the Gold Coast, the community has dining, lifestyle and entertainment facilities on its doorstep. Its newest edition is the local park, designed to blend into the natural landscape of the region.
The team at Planit has successfully completed the design and project management duties for the park on account of QM Properties. The site’s typography was carefully considered during the design process to connect the park with the greater landscape.
The natural vegetated environmental corridor along the creek line connects with the native plantings throughout the site creating an identifiable natural character.
Large undulating open turf areas surround an active park node where the playground is terraced into the site with stepped sandstone block retaining walls providing both informal seating opportunities and facilitating the level platform for the active space areas. A giant tree house acts as the landmark within the park.
The recreation park will prove popular with kids and parents alike with plenty of fun equipment to play on while also enjoying the natural landscape of the community.
