Queensland Premier Anastacia Palaszczuk recently announced the approval of almost $38 million to transform the Gold Coast Turf Club into an international night racing venue. Premier Palaszczuk told the Bulletin, they are delivering on a commitment to invest in new infrastructure to create jobs and rebuild the economy of the Gold Coast. “This project will create jobs for local construction workers and will deliver great benefits for the local racing industry on the Gold Coast for years to come,” she said.
The project has a significant impact on raising the Gold Coast’s international profile, building its reputation as an international destination growing and diversifying our local economy.
